Sports – Congratulations to our Diamond Cats who picked up an impressive 16 – 1 win yesterday over New Manchester. Club Scene - All yearbook staff need to report to the media center at the beginning of fifth period. The Foreign Language Club will be doing a food drive contest during 5th period – bring your non-perishable food items to your 5th period classes by March 28th. The winning class gets a pizza party. They will also be hosting a community service project opportunity on Saturday, March 15th at Books for Africa in Smyrna. If you are interested in participating, please sign up before Friday in Room 501 or 507, or see Madame Miller or Senora Sterrett. The Beta Club will be selling flowers for St. Patricks Day and March Madness. They will have lucky green, gold, and white carnations for sale starting Monday, March 17. Philanthropy - Carroll County Relay for Life shirts are now on sale. Shirts are $10 up to size XL, $11 for 2 XL, and $12 for 3 XL and so on. The deadline for the shirt order is April 10th. If you would like to purchase a shirt, see Ms. Hall. The Luau shirts are yellow and checks need to be made payable to Beverly Cable. Deadlines - Renaissance Festival money is due by this Friday to Mr. Bilski or Mrs. Tidaback. Cheerleading tryout packet documents and fees are due to Coach Johnson by Monday, March 17th. AP test money and forms are due by March 21 at 4 p.m.; these can be turned in to AP teacher or Ms. Brown. Neither late paperwork nor payments will be accepted. Attentions Juniors and Seniors the deadline to pay for prom (you and your date) is quickly approaching! Get your prom money to Sra. Sterrett or Ms. Bryant before Spring Break.
