Spotted: To the older teenager who helped me calm down my 11 year old boy yesterday when I wasnt going to buy him the game he wanted(the evil within). Some games are a little much for kids at that age and although some parents feel its ok to buy them for their young teenagers I felt this specific game was inappropriate. My son was having a fit and I love him so much but sometimes it is just hard to justify my answer when he gets into that mood. This young man came up to us and said sorry to interrupt but I think I can help. He explained how sometimes we want to have everything and we do not understand why parents say what they say. But he assured my son that parents are always right and dont say no because they hate us, but because they love us. He assured him that he felt I was being fair and that maybe he will understand one day. He also told him a story about what he wasn’t able to play when he was younger. I am not sure what exactly was said but this teenager really helped me calm my boy down. Not only was he ok with not buying the game but he also said he was sorry.
