Spread the news San Mig to let fans pick who the teams muse would be for PBA opening ceremony SAN Mig Coffee is coming up with a unique way to determine who is going to be the muse of the team for the opening ceremonies of the PBA’s 40th season on October 19 at the Philippine Arena. Team governor Rene Pardo has asked Spin.ph to spread the news that the fans of the Mixers can weigh in and suggest who they think deserves to be the face of the franchise on opening day. Pardo said fans can make their suggestions on his Facebook account. “Pakisabi sa mga fans na pag may suggestions sila, ilagay lang nila `yung names ng mga gusto nilang maging muse namin tapos ipapasa ko yun sa marketing (department) namin,” said the amiable team official. Previously, it’s the team’s big bosses who choose who the Mixers’ muse or set of muses are going to be during the opening ceremonies, according to Pardo. But as a way of thanking fans for their unwavering support during a run that saw the Mixers win the league’s last four conferences - including a rare grand slam last season, Pardo said management deemed it best for their supporters to have a say on the team’s choice of muse. “Naisip lang kasi namin na bakit hindi bigyan ng voice ang fans to choose.
