Spring is in the air, gas prices are starting to rise, traffics not getting any better, yep time to start looking for a bike or to make sure yours is in top shape. This Sunday I will be offering a 5 week workshop that will give you the ins and outs of finding the bike of your dreams and avoiding some of Craigslist nightmare bikes. With my workshop you will gain insight into how to evaluate different candidates that are vying for your hard earned money. Remember the true cost of the bike is not what you hand the seller, its what you will have to hand to the parts and service department after the sale. The service part the classes will help you with. Gone will be the days of paying $90 per hour to have it fixed for you. You will learn to shop for parts and save money but you learn to avoid or at least bargain down the money pits that frequent Craigslist. If you already own a bike then you can learn how to perform preventative maintenance. If you get out front on maintenance then you will suffer few if any break downs that always happen when your in a hurry. Bikes are machines and you either pay them now or pay them much more later.
