Springtime is here and with that comes allergy season. One helpful thing you can do is to remove your shoes the moment you step in the door. While this will decrease your exposure to allergens, theyre still going to come into your house other ways (open windows, pets, kids, etc). Once allergens like pollen or pet dander find their way in, they settle and become trapped in carpet fibers and subsequently every step on that carpet sends tiny clouds of particles back into the air. Two easy ways to remove these allergens from the carpet are using a vacuum with a HEPA filter and having the carpet professionally cleaned. These simple things will help ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable summer.
