Srinagar, July 21, CNS: Police Monday foiled the march of forestry graduate candidates who tried to march on city roads in favor of their demand. Eyewitnesses told CNS that scores of forestry graduate candidates who have been camping from past nine days at Pratap Park Srinagar amid anti-government slogans came out from the park in the form of procession. The agitated candidates had put on shrouds who warned that they will take any extreme step in case government fails to implement Rehbar-e-Janglat (ReJ) policy for them. The protestors said that the term of National Conference led regime is about to end and it has failed to clear the file pertaining to their employment in the cabinet. Police arrested scores of candidates and detained them police station Kothibagh. Reports said that some candidates fainted in the premises of police station who were later shifted to hospital in an ambulance. (CNS)
