Standing Penance is a 4 piece Hard Rock/Metal band from Barbados, pushing past the boundaries of the conventional island stereotype they have managed to capture major attention worldwide. Having signed to American based Record Label Steel Records in 2012, the band released its debut album called My Pain and are about to release their second album The Active Ingredient. The first album launch party will be held in Trinidad on Saturday, April 12th 2014 at Shakers On the Avenue, 43A Ariapita Avenue in Port Of Spain. The Event kicks off at 8pm and admission is TT$100. There, the band will perform the singles from the 1st album as well as the entire of The Active Ingredient with a special surprise ending.
