Starting a new book tomorrow.. after 15 years at Roush I will start a new job tomorrow. I havent made a big deal out of it, its just too bitter sweet for me right now. I will share where when Im ready. Although this last Thursday was my last day at Roush it was wonderful! (for the most part) I arrived to the famous Brubaker cupcakes, my guys visited me many times throughout the morning, I was presented with a card, (I cried), signed with lil notes, filled with cash for my new start, I had lunch with a couple of my guys, came back to a beautiful potted plant, got the queens tour before I left that included many hugs, best wishes and even some tears. I can never replace any of them.. I know of their wifes, their ex wifes, their girlfriends, kids, babies, pets, families, cars, habits, (good and bad) and even things Im swore to seceretly. Believe me when I say its bitter sweet. There were even a few I didnt even say goodbye too, I couldnt, I will say until I see you again. But I will open another book tomorrow.. Im not a quitter.. I will hold onto those great memories of my guys, keep my chin high and carry on. I told them all I will be back to see them, and I will!! Tomorrows a new day, new book and 8.6 miles from my home. Ill keep you posted.
