Starting next Tuesday night the City of Montclair will be offering FREE concerts in the park during the month of July. All concerts will be held at Alma Hofman Park (Shark Park) and begin at 7 p.m. Bring your friends and family, blankets and lawn chairs and a picnic dinner to enjoy a fun evening in the park. The Splash Pad will remain open until 8 p.m. on concert nights and refreshments will be for sale. New for 2013, the concerts will also feature free children’s activities in the park alongside the concerts. Concert schedule is as follows: July 2- Remember Then (classic rock) July 9- Ron Johnson Band (all American favorites) July 16- Mariachi El Aventurero (mariachi music) July 23- The Silverados (country) July 30- The Ravelers (classic rock)
