Starting with a $1 billion cut to public education in 2011, Michigan K-12 schools, community colleges and universities have lost nearly $2.5 billion under Gov. Snyder, who has put tax giveaways for corporate special interests ahead of the needs of students and communities. And that total is before the expected passage of this week’s budget, which will again fail to fully restore the cuts, making the hole even worse. #KidsNotCEOs
