State Board of Ed Update: for those who asked, it was Elaine Gantz Berman, Pam Mazanec, and Angelika Schroeder who were paging through a catalog during public comments. After the meeting, I approached Elaine Gantz Berman to ask for the catalog. Instead of just showing me the catalog and letting things be, she told me that she was under no obligation to listen to citizens during public comment time. Had I known she would say that, I would have had an audio recorder ready. I stepped away, grabbed a recorder, and went back and asked her to repeat on the record what she had just told me. Listen to her silence on tape. It speaks volumes. She didnt even deny it when she had the chance.
