Provides back-up supplemental cleaning for (e.g., routine and project work) in cottages, and for patios & picnic tables grounds-wide. Performs miscellaneous related duties (e.g., cleans sidewalks, removes snow &/or ice from sidewalks, removes litter, and trash from each building and grounds, moves furniture, assists in setting up & tearing down for various functions (e.g., meetings, dances, employee of the month), submit requisitions &/or stock supplies; special cleaning projects (e.g., residential cottages: striping, waxing, buffing floors, washing walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, cleaning furniture); clean up special circumstances (e.g., after a flood, follow-up to construction work, or any other significant environmental disruption). Attends meetings and in-services as needed. Other related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications: Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading & speaking common English vocabulary. In accordance with Section 124.11(B)(2), revised code, Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above. Major Worker Characteristics: Knowledge of cleaning practices & procedures*; addition & subtraction. Skill in operating cleaning equipment & tools*.
