Jake Finnerty and Dustin Eckman were on the front row for the Magnum Graf-x and Finn’s Auto Sales and Service Limited Late Model Special followed by Nathan Short and John Cline in row two. Point leader Ryan Scott started eighth. Finnerty was the first back to the line on the start followed by Eckman and Short. Short nipped Eckman at the completion of lap four to claim the runner-up spot and Steve Kania moved into the top five and Scott was sixth. Finnerty began lapping cars on lap twelve with a fifteen car length lead over Short who was now being challenged by Kania. Kania took the spot on lap fourteen and began to run down Finnerty. The fight was now for third as Scott Eckman and Short were all trying for the spot. Scott won out for third as the two to go signal was given. Kania was unable to catch Finnerty.
