Stats from Michigan, NuffWorld VSU series... #28 Steve Deyo posted top 25 finish in p21. Travis Mckinney driver of the #42 BHM SS, posted 29th, high notes, Travis led some laps.. was running really well as always, but was later "dumped"... Travis kept his cool, considering that he was unable to get his car out of grass due to blown tires.. and had to leave the race. Deyo ran in the top 20 for a period of the race, til a late race altercation with 3 other cars going into turn one.. fighting for the same place on the track.. ultimately.. killed any real chance of getting a top 15.. was running 17th when the chaos erupted. Overall.. as a team..we have shown some improvements.. we were solid... but as "s__t" happens. Maybe we will get the luck we need to pull of a win, or just get both drivers into the top 10 this year. Travis, thank you for showing resolve when that we know what hard to do.. even.. Deyo.. was just a little ticked over getting drilled... when, after all.. you have to give respect to earn it.. I have yet to obviously earn it from some of the drivers.. that is something.. that I hope will change before the end of this season. We will not name names here, but some attitudes must change if we all are going to be respectful, and successful. You have to give a lot.. to get a little... BHM.. we give a lot... lets hope that some words of inspiration spread from this post... We can drive hard.. give some.. but gain a lot if we work with each other.. not against each other.
