Staying at home caring for 6 children is a JOB. It is not a privilege or at least not in our situation. It is for financial reasons and the fear of leaving our children in the care of strangers. Seriously I want to duct tape their mouths shut and I dont because I love them. Another caregiver may not have the same restraint. Sure my job has its perks. I dont have to wear pants. I can send my children to their rooms when they are acting like assholes. Liberty cant fire me for being mean no matter how badly she wants to and believe me she wanted to this morning. Did I feel privileged when I had only one child or two at home honestly yes. It was awesome even when it was terrible. 6 kids on the other hand is more like having Stockholm Syndrome.
