Stella Peters, 96 of Puxico died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the St Francis Medical Center in Cape Gurardeau. Mrs. peters was born June 26, 1918 in Arkansas. She was a 1936 graduate of Puxico high school and self employed homemaker she attended the Egypt church. she is survived by two sons, Dallas and Ronald Peters ; Three doctors Alice Latham, Sheila Johnson and Janice Gill; two sisters, Loretta Roach and Lucetria Tetley; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Visitation will be at 6 PM Wednesday at the Morgan Sifford funeral home in Puxico. The funeral service will be Thursday at 11 AM also at the funeral home with Rev. Wayne Burchett officiating. Interment will follow in the Puxico city cemetery. Family requests memorials be donated to the Stoddard County childrens home or Egypt church.
