Steppin’ Out Dance Company is pleased to introduce Caroline Merrick. Caroline has danced for 11 years, with 9 of those being at Steppin’ Out. Her favorite types of dance are tap and jazz. Her favorite dance memory is when Steppin’ Out awarded her the Most Improved Award. Caroline admits she was not expecting the award and is still moved by receiving it. Caroline lives with her mom and dad. She has an older brother who is in college in California. Caroline is in 11th grade and attends Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She is in the College and Career Promise program that allows high school juniors and seniors to get both high school and college credit. In addition, she is currently taking voice lessons. Caroline intends to become a Psychologist. When not at school or dance, Caroline enjoys singing, participating in her youth group, and volunteering in community service activities with her youth group. She also has taken part in Piedmont Players Theater Productions. Caroline currently dances in Level III Ballet, Tap and Jazz, Modern and Performing Company classes. She is also a student helper for our Thursday Preschool class with Ms. Jennifer.
