Steve Kuntz--What do you think of this recipe? Candied Brussels Sprouts: Tom Bivins, Crop Bistro & Brewery Yield 4-6 servings 2 lbs Brussels sprouts, outer leave trimmed, scored and cut in half Canola oil Salt and Pepper to taste ½ cup Maple Sugar ½ cup pecans or walnuts, toasted and chopped fine Blanch and shock sprouts in ice water. Season to taste and toss lightly in canola oil. Place in a roasting pan in a 375 degree oven. Roast until tender. If there is any moist, drain. Place in a bowl and toss with butter. Add nuts and maple sugar and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
