Steve is an attorney in Los Angeles. He attended the Youth Camp in Fresno and participated in all the sessions on the theme of character and Quran. After every presentation, he would come and ask questions about Islam, questions that were of theological, social, political and philosophical nature. It was his first visit to any any Islamic gathering. The UCLA law graduate lived in the all Muslim camp for four days. Then on Monday, he declared that he was convinced by Islam as a faith. I asked him what led him to this decision. He said sincerity of the people talking about it and simplicity and peace in their life. Even at a time when ISIS like groups are trying their every bit to discredit Muslims and to make Islam look bad, there are still a few individuals who can rise above the politics and can take bold decisions in life. I am always amazed at the decisions of such people. Once they are convinced, they do not hesitate to admit it.
