Stewart McNaughton 3 mins Hi Gerry, Ive just returned home from Nice & Sleazy tonight. It wasnt the best experience Ive ever had. I had gone to Vespa for a meal with my wife. It was a lovely meal. My wife contacted her sister who was in Glasgow with our lifelong friend. We met up and on my recommendation headed for sleazys. We got out of the taxi and I paid everyone s entrance fee. We walked from the entrance towards the bar with me at the rear, ensuring that everyone knew where to go. Before I reached the bar I was accosted by a woman with blonde hair under tweed flat cap. She suggested that I had too much to drink and that she would not let me venture any further into the establishment. Naturally, I objected, citing that I had merely seconds earlier, paid the entrance fee for all of my party , where no one taking my money had noticed this allegded impairment. Without further negotiation I was forcibly ejected from the premises by her colleagues. I asked to be allowed to contact my wife, family and friends in order that they knew the reason for my absence and could join me to make our way home. This access was denied. I became distressed and after a verbal altercation asked what they were going to do about this enforced separation, and they replied nothing. After some impassioned and desperate pleading on my part, I eventually gave up and crossed Sauchiehall St to await my wifes inquiries as to my whereabouts. When I saw my wife at the entrance, I recrossed the street to meet her, only to be met by two police officers, who had been brought to the scene by AN Other in the Sleazy establishment. After being questioned by said officers I was allowed to be reconciled to my wife and get a taxi home. I am so very sorry Gerry but I will never set foot in your establishment again. You and your wonderful self, personality, hospitality, followers and contributors have sadly been indelibly tainted by what I have been subjected to. There is no motivation, compelling reason or national emergency that would convince me to allow myself to be subjected to the utter humiliation that your colleagues have just subjected me to. I cannot stress this this enough Jerry, please do not take this as a slight upon yourself or our your attendees, regular and infrequent. I intend to expose this mistreatment in every possible avenue open to me. As I type this, my substantially more technologically savvy son is mounting a campaign against Sleazys on his own laptop, a mere inches from the one on which I type. This brings me no pleasure whatsoever. Im sorry Gerry, You and your people are good people, unlike the staff that police your establishment. Best regards, Stewart
