Still looking for participants!!! At the Army Navy Club (901 17th St NW, Washington, DC). Please find below a brief overview of the event and few specifics for our target attendees. Project Overview: On September 11, 2013, Exelis executives will host a peer-to-peer workshop for senior military personnel, to provide coaching on the transition from the front lines to the front office. This workshop will include the following components: - Job-readiness presentation by Dr. A. John Procopio, Senior Vice President and Chief HR Officer for Exelis - Personalized counseling sessions for each participant - chance to ask questions, have resumes reviewed, and/or practice answering interview questions - Additionally, each attendee will receive a personalized session with an experienced tailor on how to prepare their wardrobe for corporate America. The tailor will provide free measurements to participants. Additionally, participants will be entered into a raffle to win a tailored made suit. One suit will be given to a female participant and one to a male participant. We are looking for a total of 20 participants, ideally 10 males and 10 females (flexible), rank Major or Lt. Commander or above.
