Still on the machakos accident,more than five lost their lives and left more than 15 injured. It was at about 3pm when the fatal accident involving a matatu and a lorry occured along Machakos Nairobi road near Cai resort. It was a head on collision and investigations are underway but eye witnesses have it that the nissan matatu was overtaking at the time. This comes in as a report released indicates our roads to be the worst places. Drivers are urged to be extra careful,officers need to observe road rules and shun away corruption acts. CCTV may be introduced along all the main roads to suppress the carnage. More than 50 lives have been lost this week alone in road accidents.
