Still shaking: Took our Roxie for a walk on a leash in our complex, neighbors dog not a leash came barreling at Roxie growling and snapping at her. Grabbed her in my arms as the dog started clawing at my legs to get to her. Snapped some more, scratched up my legs pretty good. While this was happening the owner stood and called the dogs name, never tried to grab it. Finally, it walked away, but only to come running back growling even more and jumped up in the air to my arms where Roxie was shaking. Owner didnt come back. I kicked the dog repeatedly and it finally went away. Isnt there a leash law? My husband went to their house to ask for the dog to be on a leash, and she wanted to know why. Said her dog couldnt have scratched me up, he just was groomed. UGH Shaken up both me and Roxie.
