Still smiling about something I witnessed yesterday...maybe it will make you smile too. I was on Hanes Mall Blvd. at the stoplight by Lowes and Petsmart where a large family of geese were trying to cross the road. They made an attempt but got separated because of traffic and then got confused because they could not see one another between the cars. Some turned back and two stood in the middle of the road looking for the others. An older white haired gentleman put his car in park got out and stopped all traffic...in 4 directions. Then, went to the side of the road and walked behind the line of Geese with his arms protectively stretched out as they all made it across together. I could not help but take a deep breath and think that sometimes we all just need to slow down and let the Geese cross the road. I often find myself doing good things, often for others but always in a rush. Sometime we need a remind to just slow down.
