Still struggling with results, but the boys played very well last night. 3rd game better than first two and last night much better than the 3rd. Hitting was improved....First star Will Grant with 2 hits, a double and an RBI, 3rd star Dylan Oleson with 2 hits, Hunter Witt and Matt Smith each reached base 3 times. Next step is rising up and driving in some runs, although we hit some shots that were run down by a very good outfield. While there were some plays we shouldve made, we played error free in the book, and 2nd star Lance Parker provided our longest pitching performance of the year. Small but steady strides and lots of fight! We are making dinner with the ingredients we have available and each is beginning to add their particular flavor.
