#Stlwx #mowx #ilwx #stl The severe weather threat remains center stage for later today. As expected, scattered non-severe showers and storms now dot the viewing area as of 8am as seen in the first map. These storms will continue to lift rapidly northeast through late this morning. Of much greater concern is the severe weather threat with the storms on the second map. As these rotate north/northeast they will eventually overspread the entire viewing area from southwest to northeast between 11am and 6pm. These storms will be capable of 70 mph winds and perhaps a few very fast hitting tornadoes.
