Stop making weak, flimsy New Years resolutions and embrace the power of the written goal! Goals should be quantifiable. You need to be able to know if you achieved them or not. They should have a deadline. Light a fire under your posterior. They should be realistic, but ambitious. Reach for the stars. Example: Instead of I want to post more prop making videos this year. Try I will post two prop making videos every month this year. Heres one of mine: I will increase digital sales by 50% in 2015. Its ridiculously ambitious, but if Im even close, Ill be way better off than I was in 2014. Plus, I can track my progress monthly and take actions if Im not on target to hit it by years end. Make your goals. Write them down. Hold yourself accountable. Whats one of your goals for 2015?
