Stop the aggression in LibyaBritish Civilians for Peace in Libya January 6 at 3:57am · I was watching a documentary on Sarkozys presidential campaign and Gaddafis role in it. While I found the filmmakers opinion of the Libyan leader somewhat misguided, there was a side-point that became the most crucial point to me: from 1991 to 2011, Gaddafi taped all his meetings with dignitaries from different countries. These tapes were then encrypted and when dignitiaries would speak in different languages amongst themselves, Gaddafi would have that translated into Arabic. No one knew they were being taped. Gaddafi would walk into his tent with a camera hidden inside a book. Can you imagine the implications of this? Suppose Sarkozy found out about these tapes and told other world leaders that their shady deals were also on tape? This is HUGE! This kind of information could shake up the political world and destroy careers. Probably another reason why Gaddafi was killed. And where are these tapes?!
