#StopAVN Friends and defenders of public health, due to some concerns that have been raised by people following this page, I feel a point requires some clarification. The ultimate goal of SAVN is to *stop* the AVN. Over the years we have had some great battles won, though we have not yet won the war. The hard work will continue, as always, until the AVN is legitimately shut down or until the AVN start promoting their scam in a way that accurately reflects their anti vaccine message. From time to time we divert our attention to other groups or people promoting an anti vaccine message, or even other things that cause people great harm (see black salve). There is no targeted initiative towards natural therapists for being natural therapists, we appreciate that many people here may use alternative therapies, as is their right. We will hold anyone accountable for dangerous and misleading information that impacts on public health - doctors, nurses, natural therapists, chiropractors, and unqualified charlatans like the AVN - nothing more, nothing less.
