Storey County Public Works is requiring all water customers in Virginia City, Gold Hill and Silver City to begin immediate water conservation measures. A re-circulation pump at the water plant has failed and as a result providing treated water is creating a difficult challenge for our operators. Effective immediately all outside watering of any nature is prohibited until further notice. Please conserve other use of water as well. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
