Story Time... So today I had my first motorcycle accident. Yes I am okay a little sore but thankfully okay. Story is as follows: Driving home from work a blue Audi stops behind me at a red light as Im waiting for the light to turn green I notice him inching forward so I move up about 5 feet and before I could think again he runs into me and pushes me a few feet... Light is still red at this point When I turn around and see him digging for something in his passenger seat. I get off my bike and as he stumbles out of his car and starts getting upset at me because I was stopped as I am reminding him what red lights are a gentleman comes out of no where and pulls me aside and says he was trying to call the cops already because the kid almost hit a few other cars before he finally hit me. So cops finally arrive he has no insurance or license with him and he is clearly on some sort of drug. The cops search him and his car but turn up nothing so they administer field sobriety tests and he fails them. Meanwhile he has given multiple cops different stories about his days events and what happened. He told multiple storys that involved him smoking pot earlier that day and then he stated he had been in two other accidents prior to rear ending my motorcycle. At this point is when they then arrested him for driving under the influence and put him in the car. I dont know what is going to happen but I am glad that I didnt get too banged up.
