Straight from A.j. Perry: Selling my 1989 Honda Civic Si. 210,000 miles on the body, swapped a D16Y7 engine into it and have receipts to prove it. Has exhaust manifold from D16Y8 on it. Straight piped. Motor runs strong and has good compression, trans shifts smooth as butter. Body is straight and only has one imperfection that isnt noticeable. Interior in perfect shape except for two front seats (Even have mint condition privacy cover for the hatch). Passed the last emissions test it needed, its exempt from testing now. Every one that knows me knows that I take very good care of my vehicles. My reason for selling is the voltage regulator seems to be going out and I need something running perfectly ASAP and I honestly dont have the money for a new one. Car runs fine with the headlights off. I love this car and wish I didnt have to do this but I cant keep dealing with the stress of not being able to get around or work, it was down for over a month before the swap.
