Strange Fruit... Im trying to imagine the dead body of one of my neighbors (no particular neighbor!) just sitting in the middle of the street outside my house for a whole afternoon, seeing the deceaseds family come home, look at the body and then get shooed away by police; talking with everyone and trying to figure out what happened and why, over and over for hours. Someone screaming for an ambulance thats never going to come. A half-dozen or so police vehicles and more officers on the way when everyone knows that a cop killed the dead man, for no apparent reason. Feels like a threat.
