Strange runner who is not Deaf person, is cheating at the marathon to help the deaf-blind The London Marathon, which recently took place, had a scandal. Jason Scotland-Williams, not deaf, is a professional model. He volunteered to run the marathon in order to raise funds for an agency serving the deaf-blind. He did not run the full marathon course of 26.2 miles. Instead he sneaked out during the race, and re-entered the race near the finish line when no one was watching him. After the race, the officials became suspicious of his “fast” time, and disqualified him. As a result, the deaf-blind agency did not receive the promised funds from him!
