Strawberry fields forever!!! Farmers are planting NOW for your subscriptions this spring. In the meantime, at the Co-ops request, John Blues Highlander farm saved back and froze enough strawberries to make a special run of LOCAL STRAWBERRY JAM for our last box of 2014.Delicious on toast, thumbprint cookies, mixed with a little lemon or mild vinegar for a fruit salad dressing, or give as a gift. Local product from local produce, with the farmer keeping much of the food dollar - again, THIS IS THE POWER OF COMMUNITY!!!
