Strike the water!! Before the mantle was given to elisha..he surrendered..slaughtered the ox and used the plough as fuel to cook it for hungry souls..see the level of "let go"..using his instrument of ambition as fuel..offering his career as a burnt offering with the dividends for the hungry... Then he followed his calling..he followed Jesus faithful knowing that faithful is He that has called him.. Finally Elijah goes and the mantle falls on him Back to the obstacle that his master faced That same river..for on the other side are witnesses(heb 12:1) waiting to see the manifestation of Gods glory Praying with faith, he strikes the water And......it obeyed...why? Because he had let everything go Because he had allowed himself to be prepared as a vessel unto Gods glory The world is waiting for us to strike the water But we must let go,obey and follow. Selah
