Get off your seat and on your feet for this mornings pledge ready salute (All: I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under god indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.) Isabel: Now a word from our vice principal Mr. Gutierrez Mr.Gutierrez: Heres a true story and its not a fable, When its lunch time, you gotta sit at a table. We should only ask you once dont make us yell, Now this a story that you can retell. So spread the word about what we should do, Invite your classmates to sit with you. I cant wait until its lunch time, When youll be sitting a table or in the food line. Then you get released when your table is clean, And you go play nice, no time to be mean. Well I guess thats it, thats all I have to say, Be positive and have a good day! Aya: Hey Hal’s where do fish go on vacation Hallie: I don’t know Aya where? Aya: Finland! Hallie: haha that’s fishy! Emelly: Today at lunch is the 6 th grade flag football teachers vs. student’s game! Come out and cheer on the team as they bring their game versus the teachers. The game will be after the second bell. Watch as Lance and Justin score Touchdowns over Mr. Monica and Mr. Campbell. Go 6 th graders! Hallie: Hey 8 th graders, looking for help on your science fair project? Whether you need help on choosing a topic or making your poster board, come to the tech center E-2 and E-3. Meeting dates will be today, Dec. 2 nd , 11 th , 17 th , and Jan. 3 rd , 6 th , and 8 th . Sessions start at 3:15 and end at 4:30. See you there 8 th graders! Yamilet: Readers looking for spirit points – read Chained by Lynne Kelly, It’s about a boy working for a circus and taking care of a baby elephant in India. If you have read Chained or Wonder, stop in at the library for spirit points. Books available at Cunha library or Half Moon Bay library. Aya: Now for the results from last weeks Musical Pillows! For the third place in 8 th grade is Hitchner, second place is Izquierdo, and for first place Aguilar! For third place in 7 th grade is Angst, second place is Robison, and first place is, McCartney! For third place in 6 th grade is O’Connor, second place is Longaker, and first place is Rippberger! Isabel: Its can food drive time Cunha! We will be donating to Second Harvest. Each can you turn in will be worth 5 points. The results so far are in 6 th grade O’Connor is in the lead. For 7 th place Angst is at the top with 25 cans, and for 8 th grade Izquierdo is in first place but Hitchner is only 5 cans behind! We will be collecting cans next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It will be in the quad area before school. Thanks cubs! Emelly: Hey 6 th graders the results for the marshmallow house are in, in 3 rd place was Yamilet : (sing song) the birthdays for today are Gabriel Torres, Socorro Aguilar, and Hannah Hochheiser. Have a happy birthday! Hallie: The answer to yesterdays movie quote was a league of their own. Today’s Sports trivia is How long was the Raiders losing streak until they won last Sunday?
