Students are dying, Mr. Alami is living. Well, when I walked between the lines of Faulkner’s novel, I have felt that I am totally under its control and driven by its meaning. Falkner is being very intellectual writer for he can capture and know how the mind of characters process and perceive things. Also, he could show us the inner thinking of his characters by using what is called mind-style and stream of consciousness. In any case, by now I can go insight into both the mind of semester six students and the mind of Mr. Alami. In one hand, students wonder what the questions of Mr. Alami will about. On the other hand, Mr. Alami wonders how his students will deal with his questions. Thus, they both share and focus on one thing, but in mixed perspectives. Students and professors are being replacing by new ones.
