Students at A.F Palmer enjoyed a school-wide morning of Enrichment activities on Friday, Dec. 12. Using the theme “Holidays Are Sweet” students traveled in multi-age groups to classrooms throughout the building in order to work with different teachers and learn something new! Some of the activities included completing a Holiday math lesson using Skittles candies, measuring ingredients to make reindeer food and learning the origin of candy canes and creating candy cane patterns. Rumor has it there was even an indoor snowball fight - (using jumbo Marshmallows of course!) By the looks on the faces there was a good dose of fun mixed into the day’s learning.
