Studio Desk/Rack Hi guys. I have this desk that I built recently to suit the profile of my console, but i have decided to go for a different setup ergonomically. The desk is built out of marine ply and tassie oak, and is built like a tank, but has a couple of details that Im not proud off, finishing wise (I was rushing to finish it off). However, these details are only visible now that the front of the rack is not loaded with gear, but if someone wanted to buy it, Id make it all look smooth. The top holds 10+3 units and bottom/front 13. It also has a nice writing or keyboard/mouse pad. Front hasnt got the rack rails installed yet, but I will do that for who ever wants the desk. It cost me about $220 in materials and about 10hrs of work, not including sanding, staining, then sanding, then staining again, then sanding....clear varnishing...drying..sanding..you get the drift. If anyone wants it, make me an offer :) To be transported in one piece..I might be able to deliver for a small fee.
