Studying the written history of man kind, Ive come to learn that aggression has been undermined and condemned since pre-history. In early cultures (durring the caveman era) the strongest most aggressive male was the leader of the tribe or were hunting leaders and or warrior leaders deffending or attacking other tribes . This worked for a while. As the population grew, the aggressive males became vastly the minority. when this happened, strength in numbers basiclly removed the aggressor from a position of automatic leadership. moving to our current day, I see a lot of people who are aggressive are locked up or outcasts within their community. For example, if a young man or woman fights often, they are labled as violent. if someone speaks their minds in opposition to a popular point of view, then they labled as pessimistic. both are then given the cold shoulder, generally speaking. This personally disgusts me. I dont mind aggressive people as well as my having tolerance for diverse points of view. Whats the use of a smile if its fake? why include someone you really dont want to? Why do we readily except the good and rebuke the bad when we learn so much from it? Why is it wrong to prepare for negative outcomes when they are so common? I think that education, temperance, compassion, the exceptance of good and bad, patience and aggression make up a well rounded individual. CUZO
