SubhanAllah, here is a story that would amaze you on how beautiful and blessed we are that we are from the Ummah of Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam. Alhumdulilah Look how Allah Azza Wa Jall answers the duaa of His Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam. _____ This happened during the expedition to Tabuk. At some point during the Muslims expedition to Tabuk they completely ran out of water. They became so thirsty and dry they thought their necks would crack open as a result. So one of them slaughtered his camel so that they could squeeze out water from its stomach. Abu Bakr Radiyallahu Anhu then said to the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, O Messenger of Allah, Allah has made you accustomed to supplicate in a good manner, so invoke Allah (for help). The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam said, Would you love me to do that? Abu Bakr Radiyallahu Anhu said, Yes. The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam then raised his hands to invoke Allah for help, and did not lower them until the colour of the sky changed. A cloud then came and shaded the Muslims, and rain began to pour down from it. The Muslims in the encampment filled all the containers they had with them; some of them walked around the perimeter of the encampment and were amazed to see that it had rained throughout the encampment but nowhere outside of it. _____ SubhanAllah Look at the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, he did not lower his hands until the rain poured down, SubhanAllah the dedication and sincerity of this blessed man! Allahuakbar! And look how Allah Azza Wa Jall answered the Duaa of His Messenger! It only poured rain within the place where the Muslims were staying and nowhere outside that! Allahu Akbar! SubhanAllah see how Allah Azza Wa Jall helps those who are with Him, this story reminded me of what our beloved Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam said: [2] Allah the Most High is Munificent and Generous, and is ashamed to turn away empty and disappointed the hands of a man when he raises them to Him. _____ And we pray that we become among those people who would always run towards Allah seeking for His Help and not making Him the last resort.
