( St Lucias scores) St Lucia recorded a hard fought 5 wicket victory over defending champions Dominica as the Windward Islands Under 15 Cricket Tournament continued on Monday at the Gros Islet Playing Field. St Lucia won the toss and asked Dominica to take first and were dismissed for 137 in 38.4 overs with useful contributions coming from Micah Joseph with 22, Thahj Tavanior 21 and Daneal Dupigny 15. The wicket takers for St Lucia were, Shakym Scott who picked up 3 for 39 in 10 overs, Lerry Auguste 2 for 9 in overs, Johnnel Eugene 2 for 34 in 9.3 overs and one wicket each for Simeon Gerson and Dudley Charles. Set 138 for victory, the St Lucians got to their target finishing on 141 for 5 in the 48th over with good performances with the bat coming from Lerry Auguste who made 27, Jard Goodman 25, Johnnel Eugene 22, Kimini Melius 20 and Jeannick Serieux 17 not out. For Dominica the most successful bowler was Brice Jno Louis who picked up 2 for 21 in 2 overs.
