Suburban Train & Bus Travellers Association (A Social Welfare Organization of Commuters of Greater Hyderabad) 18-164, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, 500 047 TS Press note The Suburban Train & Bus Travellers Association appeals South Central Railway authorities to plan now it self to run adequate number of special trains from Malkajgiri to Basar for Godavari pushkar first of its kind in Telangana State to be celebrated in the month of July 2015 as similar services were run during Tungabhadra Pushkar from Malkajgiri to Kurnool city and back.. Secunderabad, Kacheguda and Hyderabad stations are in saturated condition and there is no scope of running additional trains from these stations. Hence it is suggested to construct one more platform to accommodate 16 or 18 coaches adjacent to present booking office at Malkajgiri and one more booking office on west side to cater the needs of pilgrims. Meanwhile we urge Telangana State Government to release/ divert some Pushkar funds to take up developmental works at Malkajgiri and advice railway authorities to complete all works at Basar and Malkajgiri to facilitate devotees for smooth and happy journey. Further the Association welcomes P K Srivastava General Manager, South Central Railway’s proposal of to run DEMU trains up to Umdanagar for benefit Air passengers. The Association Appeals General Manager to arrange stoppage of all express trains at Umdanagar and Malkajgiri to facilitate Air passengers and staff working at Airport for which we are demanding since long time.
