“Suddenly Want To Cry” is a comedy-psychological-emotional drama, which is directed by Vu Ngoc Dang. The two main characters in the film are Tang Thanh Ha and Luong Manh Hai. Bao Nam (Luong Manh Hai) is a 21-year-old and handsome boy. He was born in a weathy family; therefore, he doesn’t have to do anything. His hobbies are partying, spending his parents’ money and gambling. Because of hanging out with bad friends, he failed college three times. Disappointed as his parents were, they threw him out of the house and pretended to discover that he wasn’t their real son and lied that they had found their biological son, Nghia – a clever boy. Frustrated and desperate, Nam continued to do more partying, gambling until he was broke. He was boycotted friends, no relatives and have to sleep in the streets. Truc (Tang Thanh Ha) is a beautiful and brave girl. She was orphaned since childhood, she is illiterate and have to sell books on the pavement for a living. She always wore white “ao dai”, rode a bike like students. According to the contract between her and Nam’s parents, she was forced to shelter Nam, taught him how important of money. Because of the opposite character, Nam and Truc often had a conflict. Finally, however, Truc knew to read and Nam knew how to save money. Gradually, they had feeling to each other.
