Suddenly nothing but the dreaded blue screen of death insulting me in every possible boot mode. I cant help but speculate without foundation that there may be some connection between this catestrophic failure and todays publication by PressTV of my latest scathing attack on the CIA . . . . . or perhaps with what I like to think of as the scholarly Ukraine article I have been diligently working on for 3 days as an indictment of both the US and Russian self-interested adventures in the Ukraine and which for now remains inaccesible on my apparently dead laptop. Then again, it is at least equally possible that this computer failure is connected with my 7 year long war with corrupt elements of Indonesias police, prosecutors office, judiciary and political apparatus; they certainly have done such things and far worse repeatedly before. On the othet hand, maybe my computer just died. There is, of course, no way to know but I am very peeved even though this has exactly zero chance of slowing me down.
