Sumati Ramdhanie: As a pre election supporter and defender of Jack Warner I am wondering if ILP supporters are really thinking of the detrimental consequences of helping Jack Warner in his quest for SPITE, GREED and POWER!!! This is a man who has been successful in committing FRAUD in all parts of the world including Trinidad..I was appalled by the international medias description of his fraudulent activities, backstabbing,and greed!!..eg: ‘Jack Warner, the Concacaf president who has reveled in his status as kingmaker of the English bid,SHOOK HANDS WITH CAMERON, HAD HIS PICTURE TAKEN WITH PRINCE WILLIAM, AND THEN PROMPTLY TOOK HIS THREE VOTES TO RUSSIA. (Backstabbing) FIFAs vice-president also faces a corruption investigation. Jack Warner is accused along with Bin Hammam of being involved in bribery FIFAs Trinidad conference. During his time at the footballing body,WARNER HAS FOUND HIMSELF IMPLICATED IN NUMEROUS CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS REACHING AS FAR BACK AS THE 1980S. IF THE BRIBERY ALLEGATIONS PROVE TRUE, IT WILL NOT ONLY BE AN EMBARRASSMENT FOR FIFA BUT LIKELY ALSO FOR THE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO GOVERNMENT.. (Fraud) Warner owned shares in Simpaul, a travel and holiday company. In late 2002, various GLOBAL MEDIA PUBLICATIONS alleged that Warner had made a profit of $350,000 selling 2002 FIFA World Cup tickets FIFAs ethics committee criticized the ticket deals, concluding WARNER HAD ABUSED HIS POSITION TO OBTAIN PERSONAL BENEFITS. FIFA started an investigation, and asked their auditors Ernst & Young, to investigate. In a report submitted to FIFA in March 2006, E&Y estimated THAT WARNERS FAMILY HAD MADE A PROFIT OF AT LEAST $1 MILLION FROM RESELLING 2006 WORLD CUP TICKETS, THAT WARNER HAD DIRECTLY ORDERED OR SOLD ON BEHALF OF THE T&TFA Minutes of FIFA’s executive committee indicate that in consequence of being FOUND GUILTY of breaking FIFAs Article 5, a fine of almost $1 million, equal to the expected profiteering, was imposed on the family. DESPITE NUMEROUS REMINDERS FROM FIFA, ONLY $250,000 HAS BEEN PAID....( Greed) These are just a very few of the reports worldwide..look up Jack Warner in Wikipedia and you will see for yourself..With this kind of background, do his supporters really want to give him control of our countrys assets!! Do you think that there is gonna be any Foreign investments or relations should he (GOD Forbid) becomes Prime Minister!!!! PLEASE people dont sell out Your country because of a few drains, roads, pipe water or housing assistance in your community...those are things that the Government Supposed to provide...and they did!!..Think carefully of the long term CONSEQUENCES of Your ACTIONS!!! And let GOOD SENSE PREVAIL!!
