Summary of the Christian worldview in 200 words: The Christian worldview is monotheistic. God is triune, manifesting Himself into three persons simultaneously while retaining the same essence. He is infinite in nature, having no beginning and no end. He is personal--having a mind, emotion, will; not merely impersonal force or energy. He is transcendent, meaning He is Spirit beyond the physical realm, yet He is also immanent, as in omnipresent. He is omniscient, knowing literally everything, and He is completely sovereign, or omnipotent. Thankfully, He also is good and loves us. God created ex nihilo. He established the laws of physics to govern His creation and actively maintains its order and direction. He created mankind in His image, bestowing upon us a mind, emotion, will just as He has. With this God-given ability, we can know and master the world around us, as well as know and have relationship with God. We originally were created sinless, yet through the fall we became corrupt, defiled, sinful, and thereby separated from the holy presence of God. After death we face judgment which determines if we will be with God or apart from Him for all eternity, contingent on our accepting or rejecting Jesus’ vicarious atonement while on this earth.
