Summer has arrived, the sun is shining and Phase I of the building work is nearing completion, which means Dormy House is about to open its doors to guests. We hope you are getting as excited as we are! With the bar now taking centre stage in The Potting Shed and bedroom furniture arriving, it is all hands on deck for the Todhunter Earle team. The interiors are starting to look very superior as we builders complete the last minute snagging jobs. In The Garden Room, the stunning floor-to-ceiling glass windows are now in place and we await the arrival of Chris Beardshaw and his team, who will transform the gardens into an exquisite landscape that will live up to the restaurant’s name. While the attention is now in the detail for Dormy House, work is still very much the big picture for the new House Spa. The construction team has begun work on the shell of the building and the Spa is on schedule for a January 2014 opening. Check in soon for some more images…
