Summer has been so awesome this year! I love teaching children who have signed up for the subject taught. Behavior is exceptional, focus is awesome and results are amazing. I continuously rediscover that the subject of music brings more happy joyfulness to the soul than any other. Teaching both art and music for parks and rec allows me the ultimate educators dream of teaching only the children who want to learn. What bliss! Ive also enjoyed the impulse control these children have. Its refreshing and necessary for results based activities. And, thankfully, there is no forced curriculum to cater to. Therefore creativity can emerge as to choices for activities. Following the child is actually possible as a result. In essence, the teacher has creative freedom. Hmmm.. now theres a concept!
